The "iron curtain" in the Soviet Union: good or bad

And how they lived without it?..

It is Worth remembering more about some things, virtually absent in the Soviet Union: rampant drug abuse, prostitution, various perversions, besides trying to impose itself all around the quality norms and standard. All of these things, as it turned out, really, and not in the fantasies and the party Commissar, are indispensable attributes of the Western lifestyle. The "iron curtain" cut off them, too. No, I did not call him to recover fully – it is not necessary, and impossible. But at least some kind of "curtain", right, would be nice!
