In the building of the future headquarters of the Ukrainian Navy the explosion occurred

Today at 2 a. M. In the building of the former faculty of the rear of the land forces institute, located in odessa, there was an explosion, after which started a large fire, according to the ukrainian resource duma. According to information, the fire area made 500 sq. Metres. According to an employee of the state service for emergency situations, the building exploded gas cylinder.

The fire was contained to half of the fourth. Currently the building is undergoing renovation and repair. It is planned to place the headquarters of the naval forces of Ukraine and institute of the navy of the odessa maritime academy. Earlier it was reported that the reconstruction of the premises allocated 150 million uah. The resource reminds us that the fires on the territory of the military camp earlier, happened regularly. The most serious occurred in may 2014 – while the fire completely destroyed the roof of the central building of the faculty of the rear.
