Belgium has extended the participation of its air force in the US coalition in Syria and Iraq
The belgian government has extended from 1 july to 31 december part of the air force of the kingdom in the antiterrorist coalition under U.S. Auspices in Iraq and Syria, said the agency belga. The number of fighter-bombers f-16 involved in military air operations against militants of the terrorist group "Islamic State"* will be reduced from six to four. They are currently based in jordan.
