The Ministry of defence intends to extend the airworthiness of the two super-heavy military transport aircraft An-124 "Ruslan". It is reported RIA Novosti citing a source in the aviation industry.
According to the source, videoconferencing ordered the extension of the airworthiness and modernization of two more super-heavy military transport aircraft An-124 "Ruslan". Work will be carried out at the facilities of the Ulyanovsk enterprise "Aviastar-SP", which has been doing this since 2004. However, the timing of the upcoming modernization and the return of the aircraft to the troops is not reported.
The next contract is expected to extend the service life of airworthiness and carry out works for the upgrading of individual systems on the two super heavy transport An-124-100 for the Russian space forces
