Developer announces new platform "boomerang"

Armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles platform "boomerang" have gone through some revision. We are talking about promising armored vehicles on a wheeled platform, which was developed by Military industrial company ("VPK").
According to the latest information, innovations "Boomerang" is primarily associated with the increased bronenostsa when using armored vehicles in operations on the water. In particular, representatives of "MIC" talking about a larger hull, which increases the buoyancy of the armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles on the platform "boomerang".

After the expansion of the armored corps increased performance in tonnage, as reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the company said. The increase allows to improve the ergonomics in the placement of troops. Additional hanging elements allow to increase the level of protection of combat vehicles, troops, and crew.
In fact, we are talking about a unified multifunctional platform (MIC-7829), which can be used in the creation of various funds of military equipment.

Recall that the first technique on a wheeled platform "boomerang" was demonstrated at the may 9 Victory day Parade 2015. The platform uses a YAMZ-780, allowing to move at speeds up to 100 km/h on highway and 50 km/h over rough terrain. Combat weight prior to revision – 34 T.
