The First serial frigate of project 22350 "Admiral Kasatonov" will be transferred to the Russian Navy until the end of the first quarter. This was stated by the head of the United shipbuilding Corporation Alexey Rakhmanov.

Answering a question of journalists about the timing of the transfer of the frigate to the customer, the head of USC said that the state tests of the ship over, and then begin preparations for the transfer of the "Admiral Kasatonov" fleet.

Currently the ship is in Severomorsk, where he is preparing for the next phase of testing. According to the defense Ministry, the crew of the ship have to conduct tests on-Board systems of air defense, all the other tests already successfully completed.
Recall that the state tests of the ship began in November last year. They are held at the marine ranges of the Server fleet in the Barents and White seas.
The Frigate "Admiral Kasatonov" is the second ship of project 22350 and the first serial after the head frigate "Admiral Gorshkov". The displacement of 5 thousand tons with a length of 135 m and width 16 m. the Frigate is able to pass 4500 miles, while reaching speeds of 29 knots. Endurance is 30 days. The crew of 170 people.

Main propulsion: GTD with a total capacity of 65 thousand HP, diesel-generators with total capacity of 4 thousand kW.

The weapons of the frigate are: 130-mm artillery installation A-192, anti-aircraft missile system "Poliment-Redut", launchers for 16 anti-ship missiles "Onyx" or "Calibre", ASW complex "Package", anti-submarine helicopter Ka-27.
