Estonian intelligence estimate "threatening" the Baltic Russian troops
Estonian intelligence estimated the number of soldiers of the Russian army and military equipment, "threatening" the Baltic States of Kaliningrad and Leningrad regions of Russia. This is stated in the report of the foreign intelligence Service of the Republic.
According to published reports, the Baltic States of the two Russian regions "after" 170 tanks, 1150 military vehicles, 180 self-propelled howitzers, 80 MLRS systems and 24 ballistic missile short range.
The Russian "Iskander", permanently located 120 kilometers from the border with Estonia and 45 kilometers from the border with Lithuania, allow Russia to threaten the Baltic States from two directions — from the Leningrad and Kaliningrad regions
as stated in the document.
At the same time Estonian intelligence argues that NATO in Europe is nowhere "comparable missile systems."
As previously reported, in the same report, the foreign intelligence Service of Estonia, the Republic military analysts said that Russia significantly increased its military presence in Europe and currently there is a threat of a preemptive strike on the Baltic States. However, the Estonian scouts recognize that the possibility of military attack of Russia on Estonia "small" because "the Russian army is afraid of NATO".
