Ukraine is reforming the Ministry of defense for NATO membership
Ukraine to hold the reform of the Ministry of defence with the aim of joining the Program enhanced NATO's capabilities and obtaining plan of action on membership in the Alliance. This was stated by Deputy foreign Minister Yegor Idol.
For Ukraine's accession to NATO programmes, it is necessary to conduct a series of reforms in the military sphere, where the main is the reform of the Ministry of defence. For the implementation of the key standard "J-NATO", which built all the armed forces of the Alliance, it is necessary to dissolve the post of chief of the armed forces and chief of the General staff of the APU that will be done from 1 January 2020.
