In signal regiment ZVO radar "Caste 2-2" capable of detecting "Stealth"

Armed with radio-technical regiment of the Western military district (zvo), stationed in the leningrad oblast received new radar station (rls) "Caste 2-2", the press service of the district radar "Caste 2-2" mobile radar station of the circular review standby mode. It is designed to control the airspace, the determination of distance, azimuth, line of flight altitude and route characteristics of air targets – aircraft, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles and cruise missiles, including those flying at low and extremely low altitudes. Station detects the target, executed with application of technology "Stealth", and also moving objects at the sea surface - is spoken in the message. The defense ministry says that "Caste 2-2" has a high reliability, convenience and safety in operation, ease of maintenance, due to its characteristics has no analogues in the world. In addition to direct stations division of the zvo are equipped with a radio transparent cover, remote operator workstations and automation equipment - added the press service.
